My Background
I'm a mom, author, and former University of Southern California professor with a PhD in medieval literature. In 2021, I decided to leave academia to pursue more of the creative work that lights me up.
Today, I split my time between writing, modeling, and creating content. I've always loved crafting beautiful images and sharing them with an audience. Before Instagram existed, I ran several travel blogs and documented my time living in the Cayman Islands and traveling with my daughter.
Travel & Heritage
Adventure is one of my core values, and I love to travel as often as possible. I speak French and adore visiting France and anywhere with a beach. My soul always feels most at home by the ocean.
I have dual United States and New Zealand citizenship, and my family is Ngāi Tahu Māori. We also have European roots, most notably in Scotland. I'm based in Los Angeles, but my Māori and Scottish heritage are both extremely important to me.
Content Creation
I feel very fortunate that I've been able to create my dream life, especially as a single mom, and I'm passionate about empowering other women to do the same. I have a highly engaged following on Instagram, and I love sharing products and brands with my followers that can help them feel their best and pursue their own dreams.
